VinFast's Bold Move: Assured Buyback and Exchange Bonus for Electric Vehicles
In a bold move, VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, has introduced an innovative program in India, promising an assured resale value of up to 75% of the ex-showroom price for its VF 6 and VF 7 models. This Value Assured scheme is a game-changer for the EV market, offering customers peace of mind and a competitive edge.
The buyback plans, ranging from 2 to 5 years, provide an attractive option for those seeking a hassle-free resale experience. VinFast's commitment to ensuring a high resale value is a significant advantage, especially in a market where used EV prices can be unpredictable.
But that's not all. VinFast is also offering a 3% loyalty bonus on both the VF 6 and VF 7, rewarding customers for their trust in the brand. Additionally, an exchange bonus of up to Rs 1.30 lakh is available for those switching from petrol or diesel vehicles, making the transition to electric more appealing.
The VF 6 and VF 7 are impressive vehicles in their own right. The VF 6, equipped with a 59.6 kWh battery, boasts a range of 480 km on a single charge. Its front-mounted electric motor delivers 201 BHP and 310 Nm, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 8.89 seconds. DC fast charging support further enhances its convenience.
The VF 7 takes it a step further with two battery options (59.6 kWh and 70.8 kWh) and single- and dual-motor configurations. The front-wheel-drive versions offer 201 BHP and 310 Nm, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions pack a powerful 345 BHP and 500 Nm. VinFast claims the VF 7 can cover up to 450 km on a single charge, depending on the variant.
